The story behind Sofa goes abroad

When we set course to study and work abroad, it was clear to us that we wanted to report from there and keep our family and friends back home up to date. To do so, we joined together in a group of six and started the blog “Sofa Goes Abroad”. Initially, Sofa was derived from the “Sofa Group”, a group of friends who named themselves after their go-to café in Regensburg. However, by now, IRM students of a newer generation are continuing to blog and report live from their journey, ranging from their couch (“Sofa” in German) in Regensburg to adventures all over the world.
